ENERGIES EXPLAINED
Energy is life. It is the invisible life force that
animates the human body and permeates everything in the natural world
including animals, plants, trees, rocks, the universe itself. We can’t see, taste,
hear or feel it yet when it’s blocked or not flowing freely, we can feel
tired, lethargic, can’t concentrate, feel run down and if not dealt with, we
can become physically ill as our immune system can be affected, lowering our
immunity to infections and ailments. And it is often only when our ‘chi’ or ‘ki’ or ‘spirit’
or ‘prana’ or ‘life force’ is affected negatively, adversely or blocked that
we seek the help of those in the ‘healing’ community to help us regain some
balance. And this help can come in
many forms such as therapies and techniques.
A few of them are listed below: BSFF – Be
Set Free FastTM – Dr Larry Nims developed
a highly focussed Energy Therapy method that eliminates the negative
emotional roots and self-limiting belief systems which are embedded in the
subconscious mind. It is also
referred to as one of ‘EFT’s cousins’.
Chakra-work: Chakras
are ’wheels’ of energy known as ‘gateways’ where the vital force enters and
leaves the body. When the chakras are
re-balanced we feel balanced and in harmony Colour Therapy: Each
colour has its own frequency that corresponds with one of the body’s organs
and energy systems. Colour can have
both a positive and negative properties to it, and can affect us on an
emotional and psychological level Crystals and Gems: have their own unique electro-magnetic fields
which can help to re-balance our own fields of energy Creative Visualisation: ‘Thought’
is energy and this technique uses thought to focus and create what we want –
provided we follow the rules of being, having and doing EFT – Emotional Freedom Techniques: Gary
Craig, the founder of EFT says, “in its simplest terms, EFT is an emotional
form of acupuncture except that we don’t use needles”. Instead we tap with the fingertips to
stimulate certain meridian points while the client is “tuned in” to the
problem. Mastering EFT Workshop, Greater

links the acupuncture meridians with the vision centres in our brain to change
our point of view about the problems in our lives. It is called ‘the gentle technique’. And is also referred to as one of ‘EFT’s cousins’. ET – EmoTrance: Silvia Hartmann is the originator
of this new technique which assists the release of physiological ‘feelings’
via the meridians, by using focussed intention and self-healing. It is also referred to as one of ‘EFT’s
cousins’. |
