Colour and Creativity

 

 

 

Certain colours can encourage creativity whilst others can ‘block’ creativity.  Below are a list of specific colours that can be advantageous if your wish to focus on a task that requires creativity.  Even having a single item of furnishing such as a cushion or photograph frame or plant pot in the same room can help with creativity.

 

 

Indigo                       

q       Energises the pineal gland

q       stimulates the brain, central nervous system and hormonal activity

q       intuition

q       imagination

q       creativity

q       inspiration

q       Use in rooms where you need to feel inspired

 

 

Yellow

q       Energises the adrenal glands and nervous system

q       Stimulates mental clarity

 

 

Orange

q       Use in rooms for activities

 

 

Yellow

q       Use in rooms for lively conversation
