Three Thumps
Another wonderful technique
form Donna Eden’s ‘Energy Medicine’ book.
Certain points on your body,
when tapped with your fingers, will affect your energy field in predictable ways,
sending electrochemical impulses to your brain and releasing
neurotransmitters. By tapping three
specific sets of points, a set of techniques Donna calls the Three Thumps, you
can activate a sequence of responses that will restore you when you are tired,
increase your vitality, and keep your immune system strong amid stress.
The Three Thumps areas are
known as the: K-27 Points; the Thymus Gland; and your spleen Points (under your
breast area). Each of these separate
areas when ‘thumped with the fingers’ will have a substantial effect on your
energies in their own right.
The K-27 Points when
‘thumped’ will:
q energise you if you are feeling drowsy;
q focus you if your are having difficulty
concentrating.
The Thymus Gland when
‘thumped’ will:
q stimulate all of your energies;
q boost your immune system;
q increase your strength and vitality.
The Spleen Points when
‘thumped’ will:
q Lift your energy level;
q Balance your blood chemistry;
q Strengthen your immune system.
So where do you ‘thump’
and for how long?
The K-27 Point is just below
your collar bone – if you place your open hand around the bottom of your throat
area, you’ll find that the bottom side of your hand touches the upper chest
area just about where the collar bone, throat and upper chest meet. That is your K-27 Points areas. Just ‘thump’ with your finger tips that area
whilst breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth for about
30seconds.
The Thymus Gland is just at the
top part of where a woman’s breasts begin to separate on her chest. Think of it this way, if you had eaten
something very hot and it had ‘gotten stuck’ the area you would automatically
tap would be your Thymus Gland area. So
‘thump’ with your finger tips this area whilst breathing in through your nose
and out through your mouth for about 15seconds.
The Spleen Points are
located directly underneath the nipple area of the breasts plus 1 rib space
down. Now ‘thump’ with your finger tips
this area whilst breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth for
about 20seconds.
Should you wish to use any of the techniques or
procedures described on these pages, you accept full
responsibility for your own emotional, psychological,
mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing and health.
